Continuing our environmental acts, we are proud to announce another beach cleanup. On September 22nd we invited all of our staff to participate and the call was answered. We all spent a lovely – almost summer-ish day at the beach and it was full of laughs and giggles. More than 70 people showed up, proving that they were willing to “sacrifice” their Sunday for the greater good.
Our Chefs and the F&B department left no one hungry since they had prepared some really delicious sandwiches for everyone. Rumors say that some, came just for those sandwiches.
Since we want to involve more people in our acts , we also called for some help, so our good friends from Cretan Holidays tour agency and the non-profit organization “Atahtoi” were there to assist.
The outcome? Clean beach, happy people, and no sandwiches left. All in all we would like to thank everyone who participated in that act and paid their respects to the environment with their enthusiasm. We all confirmed that part of our community still cares and is willing to do whatever it takes for a better planet.
